I've been working in science or science education for the last 15+ years.  My hats have included cancer researcher, high school science teacher in Philly, curriculum designer, education researcher in Detroit, Duke Talent Identification Program instructor, professional development facilitator, university instructor, and garden volunteer. I'm enjoying my adopted home of Tuscaloosa, but I always have a can of Old Bay handy.
